50 Things That Make Me Happy Tag



Not going to lie recently, I've been feeling more stressed and overwhelmed than usual. A pile up of school, work, finances, personal obligations, extra activities and responsibilities can really take a toll. In these moments I have to take extra effort to be appreciative of the life I live and the experiences I have on a daily basis. One of the things that helps me relax and distress in a time where life is being extra sassy is by listing out 50 things that make me happy. I noticed this was a tag so I decided to post (inspired by this wonderful blog).For me writing lists is a therapeutic process that lets me process whatever I am feeling onto paper. If you are going through a rough time, I encourage you to go out into the world and observe/write down anything that brings you joy. The list can be as short or as long as you want it to as long as it is from your heart.

Here is my random and completely unorganized list of 50 things that make me happy:

1. Strawberries (Best in my oatmeal or cereal)


2. My essential oil diffuser (Lavender and Tea Tree Oil are a YES for me)

3. The combination of apples and peanut butter or cookie butter (the Speculoos brand from Trader Joe's)

4. Tea mixed with lemonade (my go to drink)

5. Anything related to Dragon Ball Z!

6. Lavender flowers, lavender scented candles, lavender oil, lavendaaaaa


7. Soft and Cozy Blankets

8. My travel themed Planner

9. Satin Pillowcases (great for the hair and face!)

10. Nelly's Organic Candy Bars (anytime I have a bad day I pick these ups)

11. Home Goods (I can't walk into this store without wanting to throw all my money to the register)

12. My BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!

13. Succulents and cacti


14. Drawing succulents and cacti/ Botanical Line Drawing

15. Buying pots for my succulents and cacti (See where I'm going with this?)

16. Taking pictures of nature and scenery

17. Working with one of my best friends

18. Avocado's on and with EVERYTHING

19. The TV show The Office (thank my bf for getting me hooked)

20. DANCE AND ANYTHING RELATED TO DANCING

21. Researching topics and opinions on veganism

22. Eating any potato based foods

28. White nail polish on my toes

29. Coconut Oil (it has many great uses, seriously!)

36. Yoga (specifically following Yoga With Adrienne videos)

37. The beautiful friendships I have

39. Apple Cider (at any occasion)

40. Shopping for dishware and cookware

41. Using Houzz.com to look at new home designs

42. Getting my hair straightened and trimmed

43. A nice even solid non extreme temperature indoors and outside

44. Baked Oatmeal for Breakfast

45. Cuddles and hugs


46.College professors giving extra credit, accepting late assignments and rounding up grades

47. Making lists of course!

48. Finding clothes that fit my short body!

49.Baking (Cookies, Cakes, Doughnuts, the works!)

50. My Blog!
